A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Busan according to MMA Junkie as Da Un Jung is in action against Mike Rodriguez.
Jung (12-2-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Khadis Ibragimov by third round submission at UFC Fight Night Shenzhen. Jung enters the contest while in the midst of an eleven fight winning streak and he hasn’t been defeated almost four years. Jung has picked up twelve victories as a professional MMA fighter and nine of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Rodriguez (10-4-0) has won just one of three thus far in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Adam Milstead at UFC On Fox 31. Rodriguez also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 5, defeating Jamelle Jones by first round knockout. Rodriguez has suffered a total of four losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Busan takes place on Saturday, December 21 from the Sakij Arena in Busan, South Korea with Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
