Report: Danny Henry Faces Hakeem Dowadu At UFC Fight Night London

A featherweight division fight is in the works for UFC Fight Night London according to Danny Austin as Hakeem Dawodu could be fighting Danny Henry.

Dawodu (7-0-1) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over four years. Dawodu has competed in the World Series Of Fighting for his entire professional MMA career, with the last bout in the promotion being a victory over Steven Siler at the WSOF 35. Dawodu is also competing for the first time in just about a year as his last encounter took place in March of 2017.

Henry (11-2-0) has already competed once under the UFC banner, defeating Daniel Teymur by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Glasgow. Henry is a former Extreme Fighting Championship Lightweight Champion, defeating Boyd Allen at EFC 44 to win the gold. Henry also went undefeated during his time as an amateur MMA fighter, with all of those wins coming by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 17 from the 02 Arena in London, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
