A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Philadelphia according to MMA Junkie as #11 David Branch is in action against Jack Hermansson.
Branch (22-5-0) has rotated wins and losses during his second run with the UFC, with the latest bout being a second round TKO loss to Jared Cannonier at UFC 230. Branch is a former two division champion in the World Series Of Fighting, holding the light heavyweight and middleweight titles in the promotion. Branch has seen ten of his professional MMA fights go the distance and the fighter has won nine of those encounters.
Hermansson (18-4-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Gerald Meerschaert and Thales Leites. Hermansson is a former Cage Warriors Middleweight Champion, defeating Norman Paraisy to win the gold at Cage Warriors 69. Hermansson has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and half of those came in UFC competition.
UFC Fight Night Philadelphia takes place on Saturday, March 30 from the Well Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
