Report: Diego Ferreira Faces Drew Dober At UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City as #11 Diego Ferreira faces Drew Dober.

MMA Junkie first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.

Ferreira (17-2-0) enters the contest riding a six fight winning streak, last defeating former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis by second round submission at UFC 246. Ferreira hasn’t suffered a defeat in over four years, with that last loss coming to Dustin Poirier at UFC Fight Night 63. Ferreira has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came in UFC competition.

Dober (22-9-0-1NC) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Marco Polo Reyes and Nasrat Haqparast. Dober also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, losing to Daron Cruickshank in the opening round of the reality show. Dober has suffered nine losses as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them came by way of decision.

UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City takes place on Saturday, May 2 from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Jack Hermansson and Chris Weidman headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
