A lightweight division attraction first reported by Farah Hannoun will headline UFC Fight Night Philadelphia as #6 Edson Barboza is in action against #7 Justin Gaethje.
Barboza (20-6-0) has won just one of his last three under the UFC banner and that lone victory came over Dan Hooker at UFC On Fox 31. Barboza has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter, with two by KO/TKO, two by submission and two by way of decision. Barboza has spent the majority of his pro MMA career in the UFC, with just six of those professional MMA bouts happening outside of the promotion.
Gaethje (19-2-0) has won just two of four fights in the UFC, with those victories coming over the duo of Michael Johnson and James Vick. Gaethje has headlined three UFC cards thus far during his run with the promotion and the fighter won two of those headlining affairs. Gaethje was the first and only WSOF Lightweight Champion, defeating Richard Patishnock to win the gold at the WSOF 8.
UFC Fight Night Philadelphia takes place on Saturday, March 30 from the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN 2.
