A catchweight division attraction has been added to UFC 250 as Evan Dunham faces Herbert Burns.
Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Dunham (18-8-1) is competing for the first time in almost two years, as he retired after a loss to Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Dunham hasn’t picked up a win in almost four years, with that last victory coming over Rick Glenn at UFC Fight Night 94. Dunham has picked up eighteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of decision.
Burns (10-2-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated Nate Landwehr by knockout at UFC Fight Night Raleigh. Burns hasn’t been defeated in almost three years, with that last loss coming to Magomed Idrisov at One Championship: Kings & Conquerors. Burns also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 7, defeating Darrick Minner by first round submission.
UFC 250 takes place on Saturday, June 6 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
