Report: Gavin Tucker vs. Justin Jaynes Added To UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Oleinik

A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Oleinik as Gavin Tucker faces Justin Jaynes.

Bloody Canvas first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.

Tucker (11-1-0) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Sam Sicilia and Seung Woo Choi. Tucker is back in action for the first time in over a year, as his last bout happened at UFC 240 in July of 2019. Tucker has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Rick Glenn at UFC 215.

Jaynes (16-4-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Frank Camacho by first round TKO at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Volkov. Jaynes enters the contest riding a five fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in just about three years. Jaynes has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them have come by way of decision.

UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Oleinik takes place on Saturday, August 8 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Derrick Lewis and Aleksei Oleinik headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
