Report: Geraldo De Freitas Faces Felipe Cabocao At UFC Fight Night Fortaleza

A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Fortaleza according to Combate as Geraldo De Freitas is going to be in action against Felipe Cabocao.

De Freitas (11-4-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a six fight winning streak. De Freitas hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years and that last loss came against Denis Silva at Jungle Fight 82 in October of 2015. De Freitas has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them have come by way of decision.

Cabocao (8-0-0) is also going to be making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over five years. Cabocao is also going to be back in action for the first time in over a year, with his last fight taking place in September of 2017. Cabocao has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them have come by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night Fortaleza takes place on Saturday, February 2 from the Olympic Training Center in Fortaleza, Brazil with Raphael Assuncao and Marlon Moraes headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
