A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 225 according to MMA Junkie as Grant Neal is going to be in action against Alpha Toure.
Neal (1-0-0) made his professional MMA debut at Sparta Combat League 72 in February of 2019, defeating Juan Molina by first round submission. Neal held the Tuff-N-Luff Light Heavyweight Title as an amateur competitor, but turned pro a short time after winning the gold. Neal competed a total of six times as an amateur MMA fighter, with five of those six opponents having winning records when they fought.
Toure (0-0-0) is going to be making his professional MMA debut and a professional MMA debut in this encounter. Toure has no amateur MMA experience to speak of, so this bout is going to be making his overall MMA debut.
Bellator 225 takes place on Saturday, August 24 from the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut with Matt Mitrione and Sergei Kharitonov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
