Sinead Kavanagh has suffered an injury and has been pulled from Bellator 217 according to MMA Fighting, replacing her against Olga Rubin is going to be Iony Razafiarison.

Rubin (5-0-0) is coming off arguably the biggest win of her professional MMA career, defeating UFC veteran Cindy Dandois by unanimous decision at Bellator 209. Rubin had made her professional MMA debut on the Bellator 164 card in November of 2016, defeating Laurita Cibirite by first round TKO. Rubin has competed five times as a professional MMA fighter and has picked up three wins by way of KO/TKO.

Razafiarison (5-1-0-1NC) has won just one of two fights under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Sinead Kavanagh at Bellator 173. Razafiarison is going to enter the contest on the strength of a four fight winning streak, which includes a win over the aforementioned Dandois at European Beatdown 5. Razafiarison has seen four of her professional MMA fights go the distance and the competitor picked up victories in three of those encounters.

Bellator 217 takes place on Saturday, February 23 from the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland with James Gallagher and Steven Graham headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs via tape delay on the Paramount Network.
