The vacant Cage Warriors lightweight title will get a new owner at Cage Warriors 119 when Jack Grant faces Agy Sardadi.

Grant (16-5-0) has won four of five under the Cage Warriors banner, with those wins coming over Perry Goodwin, Mehdi Dakaev, Aleksi Mantykivi and Yassine Belhadj. Grant has previously challenged for the lightweight strap, losing to then champion Jai Herbert at Cage Warriors 106. Grant has picked up eight of 16 pro MMA wins by KO/TKO, with another seven coming by way of submission.
Sardadi (12-2-0) is making his Cage Warriors debut in this encounter and the fighter does so on a six fight winning streak. Sardadi hasn’t been defeated in over three years, with his last loss coming to Islam Khapilaev at Fair FC 7 in October of 2017. Sardadi has competed 14 times as a professional MMA fighter and just four of those encounters went the distance.
Cage Warriors 119 takes place on Saturday, December 12 from York Hall in London, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
