Giles (11-2-0) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Zak Cummings and Gerald Meerschaert. Giles hasn’t picked up a victory in over two years, with that last victory coming over Antonio Braga Neto at UFC Fight Night Fresno. Giles has competed thirteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.

Krause (27-7-0) comes into the contest on the strength of a six fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost five years. Krause is back competing on a pay-per-view card for the first time in nearly five years, with his last such appearance coming at UFC 184 in February of 2015. Krause has picked up twenty seven wins as a professional MMA fighter and fourteen of them came by way of submission.

UFC 247 takes place tomorrow night from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas with Jon Jones and Dominick Reyes headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
