A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Philadelphia according to ESPN (via Farah Hannoun) as #9 Josh Emmett is in action against Michael Johnson.
Emmett (13-2-0) has won two of his last three under the UFC banner, with those two victories coming over the duo of Felipe Arantes and Ricardo Lamas. Emmett is also returning to action for the first time in over a year, with his last Octagon appearance coming in February of 2018. Emmett has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them have come by way of decision.
Johnson (19-13-0) will enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Andre Fili and Artem Lobov. Johnson has competed as both a featherweight and a lightweight in the UFC, earning an overall record of 11-9-0. Johnson also made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 12, but was defeated by Jonathan Brookins in that final fight.
UFC Fight Night Philadelphia takes place on Saturday, March 30 from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
