Report: Kevin Holland Injured, Off UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Burns

Kevin Holland has suffered an undisclosed injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Burns, where he was scheduled to face Daniel Rodriguez.

MMA Junkie first reported the news, but the exact nature of Holland’s injury isn’t known at this time. Rodriguez is expected to remain on the card, as UFC officials are looking for a replacement opponent for him to fight.

Rodriguez (11-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Tim Means by second round submission at UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho. Rodriguez competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 6, defeating Rico Farrington by unanimous decision. Rodriguez has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter, which came to Victor Reyna at Combate Americas 19 in December of 2017. 

UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Burns takes place on Saturday, May 30 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Tyron Woodley and Gilbert Burns headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
