A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Shenzhen according to Combate as Lara Procopio is in action against Karol Rosa.
Procopio (6-0-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost four years. Procopio is a former Shoot Brazil Women’s Flyweight & Bantamweight Champion, relinquishing both titles upon signing with the UFC. Procopio has competed six times as a professional MMA fighter and half of her bouts went to the judges scorecards.
Rosa (11-3-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Rosa has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter, with one loss coming to UFC veteran Larissa Pacheco at Watch Out Combat Show 49 in March of 2018. Rosa has seen six of her fourteen professional MMA bouts go the distance, with the fighters winning five of those encounters.
UFC Fight Night Shenzhen takes place on Saturday, August 31 from the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen, China with Jessica Andrade and Weili Zhang headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
