A light heavyweight division encounter has been added to UFC Fight Night Moscow according to MMA Junkie as Magomed Ankalaev is in action against Marcin Prachnio.
Ankalaev (8-1-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Paul Craig via third round submission at UFC Fight Night London. Ankalaev is a former World Fighting Championship Akhmat Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Maxim Grishin to win the gold in October of 2016. Ankalaev has picked up a total of eight wins as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to earn a victory by way of submission.
Prachnio (13-3-0) is also winless at this time in UFC competition, with his loss in the promotion coming to Sam Alvey at UFC On Fox 28. Prachnio won four of four fights in One Championships competition, with three of those victories coming by way of KO/TKO. Prachnio has picked up more than half of his professional MMA wins by KO/TKO, but it has been over a year since the fighter got a finish via that method.
UFC Fight Night Moscow takes place on Saturday, September 15 from the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia with Mark Hunt and Alexey Oleinik headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
