A women’s featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Rochester according to The Canadian Press as Megan Anderson is going to be in action against Felicia Spencer.
Anderson (9-3-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Cat Zingano at UFC 232. Anderson is a former Invicta FC Featherweight Champion, defeating Charmaine Tweet to win the gold at Invicta FC 21. Anderson has picked up nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Spencer (6-0-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over three years. Spencer is also a former Invicta FC Featherweight Champion, defeating Pam Sorenson to win the gold at Invivcta FC 32. Spencer is competing outside of the Invicta FC auspices for the first time in her professional MMA career, which began in September of 2015.
UFC Fight Night Rochester takes place on Saturday, May 18 from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York with Rafael Dos Anjos and Kevin Lee headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
