A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to the June 13 UFC card as Melissa Gatto faces Mariya Agapova.
Combate first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Gatto (6-0-2) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and is also competing for the first time in almost two years. Gatto does hold a victory over a UFC veteran, as she defeated Karol Rosa by first round submission at Nacao Cyborg 3 in September of 2018. Gatto has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them came by way of submission.
Agapova (8-1-0) is also going to be making her UFC debut in this encounter and does so on a two fight winning streak. Agapova competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 6, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Tracy Cortez. Agapova has competed a total of nine times as a professional MMA fighter and three of those bouts went the distance.
The yet to be announced UFC card takes place on Saturday, June 13 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
