A lightweight division affair has been added to the UFC On Fox 30 card according to Mike Heck of Fan Sided as #13 Alex Hernandez faces #15 Olivier Aubin-Mercier.
Hernandez (9-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Beneil Dariush by first round knockout at UFC 222. Hernandez has only suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Jamall Emmers at Hero FC: Pride Of the Valley 2 in June 2013. Hernandez also competed once in the Legacy Fighting Alliance, defeating Derrick Adkins by third round TKO at LFA 27.
Aubin-Mercier (11-2-0) enters the contest riding a four fight losing streak, last defeating Evan Dunham by first round TKO at UFC 223. Aubin-Mercier is currently winless when competing on UFC On Fox cards, having dropped a bout to Carlos Diego Ferreira at UFC On Fox 18. Aubin-Mercier has suffered just two defeats as a professional MMA fighter, with both of those losses coming by way of decision.
UFC On Fox 30 takes place on Saturday, July 28 from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
