Ten fight UFC veteran Ramsey Nijem has signed a multi-fight deal with the Professional Fighters League according to MMA Fighting.
The report did not state as to whether or not Nijem will compete in the promotions $1 million lightweight tournament.
Nijem went 5-5-0 during his tenure in the UFC, with those victories coming over Daniel Downes, CJ Keith, Joe Proctor, Justin Edwards and Beneil Dariush. Nijem will exit the UFC while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Carlos Diego Fereira and Andrew Holbrook.
It was through the UFC Ultimate Fighter 13 that Nijem got into the promotion, making it to the finals of the reality show before losing to UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson. Nijem also got to compete on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 25, making it to the quarterfinals before losing to James Krause.
Ramsey now joins a host of other UFC veterans who have recently signed with the PFL, which include Will Brooks, Rick Story and Chris Wade.
There is now word yet on when Nijem is going to be making his promotional debut, but the first ever season for the PFL is scheduled to kick off on Thursday, June 7.
