A bantamweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 236 as Raufeon Stots is in action against Cheyden Leialoha.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, which is expected to be a part of the main card.
Stots (12-1-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Stots has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to UFC veteran Merab Dvalishvili at Ring Of Combat 59 in June of 2017. Stots is a former Victory FC Bantamweight Champion, defeating UFC veteran Rob Emerson to win the gold at Victory FC 56.
Leialoha (7-1-0) is also making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and is also back in action for the first time in over a year. Leialoha competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 4, suffering a unanimous decision loss to John Castaneda. Leialoha has picked up seven wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them came by way of submission.
Bellator 236 takes place on Saturday, December 21 from the Neil S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii with Ilima-Lei Macfarlane and Kate Jackson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on DAZN.
