Report: Ray Borg Off UFC Fight Night Chile, Replaced By Alexandre Pantoja

Ray Borg has been dealing with health issues surround the birth of his son Anthony and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Chile according to MMA Fighting.

Raphael Marinho of Combate is reporting that Alexandre Pantoja has agreed to step in on short notice to fight Brandon Moreno at the event.

Moreno (14-4-0) is looking to rebound from his first loss in the UFC, which came against Sergio Pettis in the main event of UFC Fight Night Mexico City. Moreno also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24, losing to Alexandre Pantoja in the opening round of the reality show. Moreno is also a longtime veteran of the World Fighting Federation promotion, winning all five fights he fought there.

Pantoja (18-3-0) is looking to rebound from his first loss under the UFC banner, which came to Dustin Ortiz at UFC 220. Pantoja has suffered a total of three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those defeats came by way of decision. Pantoja also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24, making it to the semi-finals before losing to Hiromasa Ogikubo.

UFC Fight Night Chile takes place on Saturday, May 19 from the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile with Demian Maia and Kamaru Usman headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
