Report: Ronny Markes Signs With Bellator MMA

Markes (19-7-0) has won just one of his last three heading into his future Bellator MMA debut, with that lone win coming over Sigi Pesalelei at PFL Season 2, Event 3. Markes actually competed in two separate seasons for the PFL, but failed to make the playoffs both times. Markes did win three of five fights during his time in the UFC, with those victories coming over the trio of Karlos Vemola, Aaron Simpson and Andrew Craig. Markes has competed a total of twenty six times as a professional MMA fighter and eight of those bouts went to the judges scorecards.

There is no word yet on when Markes is expected to make his promotion debut, but he will enter a weight class current ruled by Ryan Bader.
