A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night San Francisco according to MMA Junkie as Ryan Spann is going to be in action against Devin Clark.
Spann (16-5-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Luis Henrique and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Spann also competed twice on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series, losing to Karl Roberson on episode three and defeating Emiliano Sordi on episode ten. Spann has picked up sixteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of those victories came by way of submission.
Clark (10-3-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last five UFC appearances, with the latest bout being a unanimous decision win over Darko Stosic at UFC Fight Night Stockholm. Clark has suffered a total of three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those defeats came in UFC competition. Clark has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them have come by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night San Francisco takes place on Saturday, October 12 from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California with Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Michelle Waterson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
