A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Boston according to MMA Junkie as Sean Brady is going to be in action against Court McGee.
Brady (10-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over five years. Brady is a former Cage Fury Fighting Championship Welterweight Champion, but the fighter relinquished the title upon signing with the UFC. Brady does hold a victory over a former UFC fighter, as he defeated UFC veteran Colton Smith at a Shogun Fights event in 2018.
McGee (19-8-0) has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner and that lone win came against Alex Garcia at UFC Fight Night Moncton. McGee also won the UFC Ultimate Fighter 11, defeating Kris McCray by second round submission to win the reality show. McGee has suffered eight defeats as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them came by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Boston takes place on Friday, October 18 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with Dominick Reyes and Chris Weidman headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
