Enrique Barzola has suffered an injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Buenos Aires according to MMA Fusion, replacing him against Nad Narimani is going to be Sergio Giglio.
Narimani (11-2-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Khalid Taha by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Hamburg. Narimani is a former Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion, defeating Paddy Pimblett to win the gold at Cage Warriors 82. Narimani hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost four years, with that last loss coming to Alex Enlund at Cage Warriors 73.
Giglio (12-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over five years. Giglio has picked up twelve victories as a professional MMA fighter and seven of those wins have come by way of submission. Giglio has previously competed in the Inka FC and 300 Sparta promotions, with nine wins coming in 300 Sparta and the rest coming in Inka FC.
UFC Fight Night Beunos Aires takes place on Saturday, November 17 from a location to be announced in Beunos Aires, Argentina with Neil Magny and Santiago Ponzinibbio headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
