A heavyweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 231 according to MMA Junkie as Steve Mowry is going to be in action against Gokhan Saricam.
Mowry (6-0-0) has already picked up two wins under the Bellator MMA banner, having defeated the duo of Ben Moa and Darion Abbey. Mowry has competed a total of six times as a professional MMA fighter and none of his bouts have gone the distance. Mowry has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them have come by way of submission.
Saricam (4-0-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over five years. Saricam has competed four times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went past the second round. Saricam once took a four year break from professional MMA competition, not competing from May of 2014 to May of 2018.
Bellator 231 takes place on Friday, October 25 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Frank Mir and Roy Nelson headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
