A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 32 as Tafon Nchukwi faces Al Matavao.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Nchukwi (3-0-0) will come into the bout with an undefeated record as a professional MMA fighter, with that streak already lasting over a year. Nchukwi has competed twice in the Cage Fury Fighting Championship promotion, defeating the duo of Alex Meyers and William Knight. Nchukwi has competed three times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went the distance.
Matavao (6-2-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, picking up wins over Aiden Jolley, Aaron Phillips and Marcus Gamble. Matavao hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years, with that last loss coming to Jake Heun at Alaska Fighting Championship 126. Matavao has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of KO/TKO.
