A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to a yet to be announced UFC card on December 5 as Taila Santos faces Maryna Moroz.
Combate first reported the fight.
Santos (16-1-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner with that lone win coming over Molly McCann at UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Ige. Santos competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil Episode 2, defeating Estefani Almeida by unanimous decision. Santos has competed 17 times as a professional MMA fighter and just five of those encounters went the distance.
Moroz (10-3-0) enters the contest riding a two-fight winning streak with those wins coming over Sabina Mazo and Mayra Bueno Silva. Moroz hasn’t been defeated in almost three years, with that last loss coming to Angela Hill at UFC On Fox 28. Moroz has competed eight times in the UFC and all of those bouts went the distance.
The yet to be announced UFC card happens on Saturday, December 5 from a location to be announced and with Jack Hermansson and Darren Till. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
