A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Vegas 15 as Takashi Sato faces Miguel Baeza.

Sato (16-3-0) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Ben Saunders and Jason Witt. Sato has previously challenged for the Pancrase welterweight title, losing to Glaico Franca by fourth round submission at Pancrase 297. Sato has competed 19 times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of them went the distance.
Baeza (9-0-0) has already picked up two wins in the UFC, with those coming against Hector Aldana and Matt Brown. Baeza also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 2, defeating Victor Reyna by unanimous decision. Baeza has picked up seven of nine wins by KO/TKO, with the remaining two coming by way of decision.
UFC Vegas 15 takes place on Saturday, November 28 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
