A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC 237 according to Raphael Marinho of Combate as Thiago Moises is going to be in action against Kurt Holobaugh.
Moises (11-3-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, dropping a bout to Beneil Dariush via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Denver. Moises also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil Episode 3, defeating Gleidson Moraes Cutis by first round TKO. Moises has suffered three defeats as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of decision.
Holobaugh (17-6-0-1NC) is also winless thus far during his UFC tenure, dropping bouts to the duo of Raoni Barcelos and Shane Burgos. Holobaugh competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 1, fighting Matt Bessette to a no contest after illegal IV usage was discovered. Holobaugh is a former two time Titan FC Featherweight Champion, defeating the duo of Desmond Green and Gesias Cavalcante to start both reigns.
