A pair of bouts may be coming to the UFC 220 card as #10 Thomas Almeida is going to be in the Octagon against #14 Rob Font at bantamweight and Shane Burgos faces Calvin Kattar at featherweight.

Almeida (21-2-0) has won just one of his last three under the UFC banner, over Albert Morales at UFC Fight Night 100. Almeida has only suffered two defeats in his professional MMA career, which came to former UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt and Jimmie Rivera.
Font (14-3-0) has won four of six thus far in UFC competition, but his last bout was a loss to Pedro Munhoz at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Font has only seen just one of his six bouts in the UFC go the distance, against John Lineker at UFC 198.
Burgos (10-0-0) has already earned three victories in the UFC, defeating Godofredo Pepey, Charles Rosa and Tiago Dos Santos E Silva. Burgos has also seen just two of his two professional MMA fights go the distance, both in the UFC.
Kattar (17-2-0) is currently undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, defeating Andre Fili by decision at UFC 214. Kattar is also entering the fight while riding a nine fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over seven years.
UFC 220 takes place on Saturday, January 20 from the TD Bank Arena in Boston, Massachusetts with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
