A featherweight division encounter has been added to the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale according to Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA as Tyler Diamond faces Bryce MItchell.
Diamond (9-0-0) is making his UFC debut in this fight and made it all the way to the semi-finals on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 before losing to Jay Cucciniello. Diamond has competed four times in the Global Knockout promotion, last defeating Emilio Chavez at Global Knockout 11. Diamond has earned a total of nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of those wins coming by KO/TKO.
Mitchell (9-0-0) is also going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and the fighter also made it to the semi-finals on TUF 27 before losing to Brad Katona. Mitchell also competed twice in the World Series Of Fighting, defeating the duo of Jorge Medina and Brandon Phillips. Mitchell has seen just one of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and that came against Jose Mariscal at V3 Fights 60.
UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale takes place on Friday, July 6 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Brad Tavares and Israel Adesanya headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
