A new threat is reportedly making his way over to the UFC Lightweight Division as the promotion has signed Roman Bogatov.
M-1 Global announced the news via Twitter:
M-1 Challenge lightweight Champion Roman Bogatov signs with the #UFC! Undefeated Russian fighter (10-0) will make his UFC debut early next year and we wish him a lot of success in the Octagon! pic.twitter.com/EWA5IP7PSz

Bogatov (10-0-0) will come into the UFC as an undefeated professional MMA fighter, with that streak lasting almost four years. Bogatov is also a former M-1 Challenge Lightweight Champion, defeating Rubenilton Pereira to win the gold at M-1 Challenge 97 in September of 2018. Bogatov has faced one former UFC fighter before signing with the promotion, having defeated Mickael Lebout by third round TKO at M-1 Challenge 104 in August of this year. Bogatov has competed ten times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of those encounters went the distance.
There is no word yet as to when Bogatov is going to be making his promotional debut or whom that will come against.
