Ulanbekov (10-1-0) comes into the promotion riding a three fight winning streak, picking up wins over Alexander Podlesniy, Denis Oliveira Fontes Araujo and Denilson Matos. Ulanbekov is a former Fight Nights Global Flyweight Champion, defeating Vartan Asatryan at FNG 76 in October of 2017 to claim the gold. Ulanbekov has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Zhalgas Zhumagulov via majority decision at FNG 88 in August of 2018. Ulanbekov is also the training partner of UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and he trained with Nurmagomedov before the fighter was pulled from UFC 249.

There is no word at this time as to when Ulanbekov will make his promotional debut or whom that bout will come against.
