A new flyweight fighter is allegedly making his way over to the UFC as the promotion has reportedly signed Zhalgas Zhumagulov to a contract.

Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA reported the signing, but such details as the length of the contract or any financial numbers associated with the deal weren’t revealed at this time.

Zhumagulov (13-3-0) will enter the promotion riding a four fight winning streak, which includes victories over UFC veterans Tyson Nam and Ali Bagautinov. Zhumagulov is the current Fight Nights Global Flyweight Champion, defeating the aforementioned Nam at FNG 86 to win the championship. Zhumagulov has competed a total of sixteen times as a professional MMA fighter and half of those bouts went the distance. Zhumagulov hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost three years, with that last loss coming to Vartan Asatryan at FNG 65 in May of 2017.

There is no word at this time as to when Zhumagulov will make his promotional debut or whom that will come against.
