A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 237 according to AG Fight as Wu Yanan is going to be in action against Luana Carolina.
Yanan (10-2-0) has won just one of two fights under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Lauren Mueller at UFC Fight Night Beijing. Yanan is a former Chinese Kung Fu Championships Women’s Flyweight Champion, defeating Meng Bo to win the gold in September of 2014. Yanan has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Carolina (5-1-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this fight and does so while in the midst of a five bout winning streak. Carolina did compete on Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil Episode 3, defeating Mabelly Lima by unanimous decision. Carolina has seen her last two fights go the distance and it has been over two years since the fighter got a finish.
