A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 243 according to MMA Junkie as Yorgan De Castro is going to be in action against Justin Tafa.
De Castro (5-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and he does so with an undefeated streak that has already lasted almost two years. De Castro competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 1, defeating Sanford Alton Meeks by first round TKO. De Castro has competed five times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
Tafa (3-0-0) is also going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over two years. Tafa has competed three times as a professional MMA fighter and all three of those bouts ended by way of KO/TKO. Tafa has spent his entire professional MMA career competing in the Xtreme Fighting Championship promotion and this is going to be the fighter’s first time fighting outside of that promotion.
