A welterweight division attraction is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night Adelaide event according to MMA Junkie as Yushin Okami faces Alexey Kunchenko.
Okami (35-11-0) has won just one of two in his second run in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Dhiego Lima at UFC On Fox 29. Okami has previously challenged for the UFC Middleweight Title, losing to then champion Anderson Silva at UFC 134. Okami also competed in the World Series Of Fighting, where he failed at an attempt to win the promotions middleweight title in November of 2014.
Kunchenko (19-0-0) has already picked up one victory under the UFC banner and that came over Thiago Alves at UFC Fight Night Moscow. Kunchenko is currently undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has already lasted over five years. Kunchenko is a former M-1 Challenge Welterweight Champion and he relinquished the title upon signing with the UFC earlier this year.
UFC Fight Night Adelaide takes place on Saturday, December 1 from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, Australia with Junior Dos Santos and Tai Tuivasa headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
