A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 242 according to Tukhugov himself as Zubaira Tukhugov is going to be in action against Lerone Murphy.
Tukhugov (18-4-0) has won three of four fights under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the trio of Douglas Silva De Andrade, Ernest Chavez and Phillipe Nover. Tukhugov is going to be competing for the first time in over three years, last competing at UFC 198 in May of 2016. Tukhugov has picked up eighteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them came by way of decision.
Murphy (5-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over three years. Murphy has competed three times in the Full Contact Contender promotion, defeating the three pack of Martin Fouda Afana Bipouna, Jamie Lee and Nathan Thompson. Murphy has competed five times as a professional MMA fighter and three of those wins came by way of KO/TKO.
