UFC 229 was already going down as one of the biggest MMA events in the sports history, but then it went down as one of its most infamous after the post-fight brawl sparked by UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and crew.
Two people allegedly involved in that brawl were UFC fighters Zubaira Tukhugov and Islam Makhachev.
Tukhugov would post the following on social media, talking about how he slapped McGregor during the brawl. Kiram Zidan of Bloody Elbow posted the following video from Tukhugov, along with a translation of what the fighter said:
UFC fighter Zubaira Tukhugov is bragging on social media about attacking Conor McGregor at #UFC229: “I slapped him as promised. I promised to make him answer for his words and I did." pic.twitter.com/Iy2QYlUmEt

Although McGregor has declined to press charges in the brawl, a ruling has been made by UFC President Dana White saying that Makhachev and Tukhugov are no longer in the promotion.
"(Tukhugov & Makhachev) will never fight here,” White said on the FS1 UFC 229 post-fight show.
Makhachev was last seen in action at UFC on Fox 30, defeating Kajan Johnson by first round submission. Tukhugov was scheduled to fight McGregor teammate Artem Lobov later this month at UFC Fight Night Moncton, but if White holds to his word, it would appear that the bout has been canned.
More penalties could be coming to Nurmagomedov and crew, but nothing has been announced or made official at this time.
