Round One: The round begins with Alves attacking Flores with some leg kicks, Flores responds by landing leg kicks of his own. Alves backs up Flores while landing a few jabs to his face, Alves looks for a head kick and Flores manages to block it. Alves and Flores exchange a few striking combinations, Alves pops a swinging Flores with a counter left hook. Flores keeps Alves at a distance while attacking him with jabs, Alves nails Flores with a front kick followed by a right. Flores gets Alves against the cage wall after eating a two punch combination, the fighters separate and take a few swings at each other. Flores attempts a jump knee strike and a swinging Alves as the round ends.
