Round One: The round begins with Maximov scoring a takedown on a kicking Cota, Maximov attacks Cota with some ground and pound. Cota scrambles to his feet and Maximov attacks him with more strikes, Maximov goes for a takedown and Cota lays on top of him to prevent it. Cota pops Maximov with a few strikes while they grapple, Cota stands back up and he drags Maximov to the ground while controlling his head. Cota holds Maximov down as the round ends.
