The night is upon us. Roy Jones Jr. vs. Mike Tyson in an exhibition fight, with a very....interesting undercard to say the least.
Though the fight won't count towards their official records, it was the first time we've seen the 54-year old Mike Tyson in the boxing ring since 2005. 51-year old Roy Jones Jr competed as recently as 2018.
The main event had a very unique set of rules, as well as quick results of the prelims. The show has Israel Adesanya on commentary, and the likes of Badou Jack, Nate Robinson and Jake Paul boxing. Mario Lopez, Swae Lee and Wiz Khalifa are also on the broadcast.
Make no mistake, though the unofficial scores read a draw, Mike Tyson beat Roy Jones Jr. across eight rounds, likely taking all eight from Jones. A much more in shape, technical, powerful and serious Tyson rode the success of slips and body punches to work away his foe.
Matt Striker previewed the card with Fightful, which you can check out below.
