Play-by-Play
(#5) Calvin Kattar vs. (#6) Arnold Allen
Round One - Allen lands a low kick to open the action. Kattar comes back with a jab, Allen returns the favor and lands one of his own. Kattar lands a step-in knee to the body but eats a counter right hook from Allen that lands flush. Allen continues to land and cracks Kattar with a 1-2 but the Boston-native goes for a jumping knee but he loses his balance, Allen dives down and looks for a choke but he runs out of time and this one is headed to round number two.
Round Two - In-between rounds, Kattar acknowledged a knee issue but his corner clears him for action, as does the cageside physician. Allen opens with a calf kick and Kattar's leg is done, this one is waved off. Not what we (or he) wanted but Arnold Allen has secured the biggest win of his career via TKO.

Tim Means vs. Max Griffin
Round One - Griffin lands a straight left to start. Griffin wallops Means with a left hook and it drops Means! Griffin rushes down for some ground and pound, looking for the finish and lands a few big elbows but Means latches on and holds firm long enough to at least get his bearings back. Means snatches a leg and uses it to somehow get back to his feet and he looks about as recovered as possible for what he just endured. Griffin continues to be the forward presser and lands a 1-2 and Means returns fire with a right hook. Means lands a 1-2 of his own and a step-in elbow at the horn and this one is somehow headed to round number two.
Round Two - Means hits Griffin with a Diaz brother-esque Slap but he eats a low kick from Griffin in response. Means just misses a step-in knee to the face and Griffin fires off a counter right hook that lands. Means with a low kick, Griffin lands a straight left and Means trips Griffin to the mat. Griffin ends up on top and lands a shot from there but nothing of consequence happens for the final few moments of the round and the buzzer sounds that'll end a much calmer middle frame.
Round Three - Griffin lands a left hook to start the third and final round. Means dives in for a takedown, Griffin walks back to the fence and Means finally trips him down to the mat. Not much going on, on the ground until Griffin transitions to top control and Means immediately teases a triangle choke from the bottom but Means just uses it to get back to his feet. Means trips Griffin right back down to the mat and lands an odd back elbow while Griffin was in a seated position. Griffin bursts back to his feet but Griffin slams him right back down and the horn sounds to send this one to the judge's scorecards.
Result: Max Griffin def. Tim Means via split-decision (30-27, 28-29, 29-28)
Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs. Jared Vanderaa
Round One - Not much action here to start. Acosta finally pushes the pace and lands a 1-2 as Vanderaa gets on his bike. Acosta misses overhand left after overhand left but lands another 1-2 as Vanderaa lands a pair of low kicks. Acosta whiffs on yet another overhand left and Vanderaa chops at the lead leg once again and the horn mercifully ends a lackluster opening frame.
Round Two - Vanderaa continues to go to the well with lead leg kicks. A calf kick lands for Vanderaa, then another and Acosta drills him with a 1-2 but continues to just not find the range on the big left hands. Vanderaa keeps chopping the tree with lead leg kicks then initiates the clinch. Acosta quickly shoves Vanderaa back and circles back to the center of the octagon. Acosta shoots for a takedown but Vanderaa shoves him aside and the buzzer sounds that'll send this one to the third and final round.
Round Three - Acosta lands a right hook to start. Vanderaa with yet another lead leg kick and Acosta is starting to limp a bit after all these kicks. Acosta fires back with a right hook then partially lands an overhand right hook. Acosta starts dancing...literally...and so does Vanderaa...not sure what's going on here but this is the most action that we've seen in this one. Vanderaa lands another low kick, Acosta responds with one of his own, Vanderaa goes for a last-second hail mary head kick and falls down after he misses and the horn sounds that'll send this one to the judge's scorecards.

Josh Fremd vs. Tresean Gore
Round One - Gore immediately shoots for a takedown and gets it. Fremd teases a choke, Gore slides out and latches on for a choke of his own but to no avail. Fremd scrambles and gets back to his feet but Gore stays attached and clinches Fremd against the fence. Gore gets both hooks in and slams Fremd right back down to the mat, where he quickly gains back control. Fremd, once again, scrambles back to his feet, where he wallops Gore with a right hook. Fremd follows it up with a step-in knee to the body and a straight right at the horn as a pretty eventful opening frame comes to a close.
Round Two - Gore opens the action with a jab, Fremd dives in for a takedown and gets it but Gore immediately grabs the neck and he's under the chin. Fremd gets back to a knee but Gore tightens the hold and falls backward to the mat and referee, Chris Tognoni waves this one off as Fremd goes out cold! What a performance by Tresean Gore!

(#13) Dustin Jacoby vs. Khalil Rountree Jr.
Round One - Rountree fires off a massive overhand right to start but Jacoby avoids. Both men come out throwing absolute hammers but nothing of consequence has landed thus far. Rountree with a low kick, Jacoby follows suit, and Rountree lands one more for good measure. Jacoby lands a step-in elbow, Rountree counters with a right hook that lands flush and the buzzer sounds to end round number one.
Round Two - Rountree with a jab to start. Jacoby lands a 1-2 then a low kick and Rountree goes for the KO shot but narrowly misses a wild left hook. Rountree lands a right hook and Jacoby is busted open above his left eye. Jacoby whiffs on a head kick, Rountree fires back with a pair of inside leg kicks and a jab. Jacoby clinches, Rountree fends him off with a knee to the body but Jacoby is persistent and shoves Routnree to the fence. Rountree fights himself off the cage but eats a right hook to the body from Jacoby, who follows it up with a left hook back up top as the horn sounds to send this one to the third and final round.
Round Three - Rountree opens the final frame with a left hook followed by a jab and Jacoby's also sporting quite the shiner under his left eye that was already opened up, earlier on. Jacoby lands a 1-2, Rountree with two straight knees to the head that both land, then a 1-2, and a third knee all find a home. Jacob tries for a desperation takedown, Rountree shoves him aside and wallops Jacoby with a right hook, Jacoby comes back with a 1-2 and the buzzer sounds to send this one to the judge's scorecards.
