Play-by-Play
(#3) Marina Rodriguez vs. (#7) Amanda Lemos
Round One - A lengthy feeling out process to start this potential title eliminator in the women's strawweight division. Lemos lands a low kick, then another and nothing of consequence lands for either fighter, thus far. Rodriguez goes for a step-in knee but Lemos blocks it and clinches Rodriguez but Rodriguez trips Lemos to the mat and will end the round in top control as the horn sounds to end a pretty uneventful opening frame.
Round Two - Lemos cracks Rodriguez with a right hook in what is clearly the biggest shot landed from either competitor, thus far. Lemos clinches Rodriguez against the fence, trips Rodriguez to the mat and goes for the neck but Rodriguez remains calm and scrambles out of danger but Lemos remains in top control for the remainder of the round until the horn sounds to send this one to round number three.
Round Three - Lemos peppers the jab to start the round. Lemos wallops Rodriguez with a massive right hook and Rodriguez is hurt, Lemos rushes in and lands shot after shot and this one is over! What a statement from Amanda Lemos!

(#13) Neil Magny vs. (#14) Daniel Rodriguez
Round One - Rodriguez whiffs on an overhand right to start. Magny circles on the outside and eats a low kick from his opposition. Rodriguez dives in for a takedown but Magny avoids for the time-being. Magny now with the level changes and he gets Rodriguez on his back. Magny transitions and lands some ground-and-pound but nothing of knockout consequence behind it. Rodriguez scrambles and gets back to his feet but Magny stays clinched up but Rodriguez forces the break and lands a 1-2 at the horn and the opening frame comes to a close.
Round Two - Magny comes out swinging to start round number two but walks into a straight left from Rodriguez. Rodriguez snaps Magny's head back with a lightning fast 1-2 and then a right hook in behind. Rodriguez peppers in the jab and clinches Magny against the cage. Magny lands a few knees to the thigh of Rodriguez and circles back to the center of the cage but Rodriguez drills him with a right hook and Magny doesn't want anymore of that power and clinches Rodriguez against the cage for the remainder of the round until the horn sounds to send this one to the third and final round.
Round Three - Rodriguez immediately wallops Magny with a 1-2 and Magny backs right up to the cage and Rodriguez comes rushing forward but Magny trips Rodriguez to the mat and gets the takedown. Magny quickly transitions and sinks in a D'Arce Choke out of nowhere and Rodriguez is forced to tap! What a performance by Neil Magny!

Darrick Minner vs. Shayilan Nuerdanbieke
Round One - Nuerdanbieke catches a body kick attempt from Minner to start. Nuerdanbieke blocks another kick and Minner looks hurt for some reason and backs up as it looks like it's an issue with his left leg after the blocked kick. Nuedanbieke rushes forward and trips Minner to the mat and Nuerdanbieke starts unloading some ground-and-pound and this one is quickly waved off. What an odd fight from start to finish, nevertheless, a first-round finish for Shayilan Nuerdanbieke!

Tagir Ulanbekov vs. Nate Maness
Round One - Ulanbekov ducks under a right hook from Maness and immediately drags this one to the mat. Ulanbekov quickly transitions and lands a few shots of ground and pound, Maness tries to get to a knee but Ulanbekov locks in a standing guillotine and it's tight! Maness tries to fight the hands but to no avail and he has no choice but to tap! What a performance from Tagir Ulanbekov!
