Rob Font scored what is arguably the biggest win of the bantamweight fighter’s career when he defeated Thomas Almeida by TKO on the main card of UFC 220.
Shortly after the fight, an ecstatic Font made a challenge to another top fifteen bantamweight in Aljamain Sterling.
It was through the Fox Sports: UFC Twitter account that Font made the challenge:
.@RobSFont shined at home in Boston, and says he wants @Funkmaster_UFC next! Is that a fight you want to see? #UFC220 https://t.co/bQO9H7mtlz

Sterling would get word of the challenge and not only accept, but would go on a short rant through Twitter:
You bitch ass motherfucker! I’ll choke your dumbass unconscious you lil hoe! You riding high on that, but I’ll snap those legs from under you and lay you on your back like the cheap hoe that you are!! @RobSFont

1 bullshit ass loss and ppl forget. I can’t wait to remind them what I can do! #TimeAlwaysTells!

While Font is coming off of a monstrous win at UFC 220, a seemingly super angry Sterling is coming off of a brutal knockout loss to former WSOF Bantamweight Champion Marlon Moraes at UFC Fight Night Fresno.
Even though the challenge from Font has been accepted by Sterling, no date has been announced by the UFC at this time.
