UFC bantamweight contenders Rob Font and Adrian Yañez have been booked to clash at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on April 8.
MMA Fighting's Mike Heck was the first to report the news of the matchup being in the works, although the promotion itself has yet to officially confirm anything regarding the booking or event. Font is 4-2 in his last six fights and will look to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Marlon "Chito" Vera back at UFC Vegas 53 last April. Yañez meanwhile is currently on a nine-fight winning streak and is coming off a first-round KO victory over Tony Kelley at UFC Austin back in June.
