The quartet of perhaps-former MMA fighters appeared at Thursday's tapings of the Mae Young Classic in support of their own Shayna Baszler. Ronda Rousey, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir were all at the event.

Rousey has long had a connection to WWE, appearing at WrestleMania 31 and subsequently hip throwing Triple H. Rousey has had a slide in her MMA career since then, dropping two straight fights and largely out of the public eye. She's participated in television shows and media of late as well.

Rousey was also joined by Shafir and Duke. Shafir has been seen on NXT of late, as she's the fiancee of Roderick Strong. Duke had the interest of WWE years ago, when she was still with the UFC. She's since taken some time off from competing. Former ROH Champion Adam Cole told me that he also offered to train Jessamyn Duke for pro wrestling.

The Horsewomen have trained with several WWE wrestlers, including Natalya and Charlotte in the past. Duke and Rousey showed up to a September 2016 AIW show to support Baszler as well.
