Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader will rematch Cheick Kongo in the promotion's return to Paris, France on May 6 at the Accor Arena.
The promotion officially announced the booking during the broadcast of Saturday night's Bellator 273 event, following Bader's unanimous decision victory over Valentin Moldavsky. The 38-year old reigning heavyweight champ is now 2-2-1 in his last five fights after beating Moldavsky and had his first meeting with Kongo back at Bellator 226 in September 2019 ruled a no-contest after an accidental eye poke ended the bout. The 46-year old Frenchman meanwhile is 9-1-1 in his last 11 outings and will try to build off of a second-round submission win over Sergei Kharitonov at Bellator 265.
